Lucky Dog is a small independently owned shop in a location that you typically wouldn't happen upon unless you were driving on that street. Khurt is the owner and he loves dogs. I guess you'd have to to do what he does. He gives the dogs treats and the dogs really seem to love him as well. Khurt also knows every dog by name as his customers keep returning. He and his team consistently do a very good job with our dogs and his prices are very reasonable. Khurt is the kind of friendly person that will chat with you and it is evident that a lot of the people going there have been going there for a long time. I highly recommend Lucky Dog.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.  My good friends dog (and bestie to my dog) Daisy was killed here. They took her outside and she ran into the road. They should have never taken her outside by the main road! This is very negligent and a sweet doggie has been lost. My dear friend is inconsolable!

A friend’s dog died here after staff let it outside unsupervised and it was hit and killed by a car — while in their care for grooming. Zero apology, zero accountability from the business afterward. My dear friend took her dog here and the business let her dog outside where it was hit by a car and KILLED — all while under their supervision. Can you imagine dropping your dog off to get groomed a d come back to pick it up and its bloody body is outside?! And on top of that the business doesn’t even apologize or take responsibility!!  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.  Lucky dog grooming did an excellent job with our little Yorkie. The staff and owner were super friendly and our boy looks so handsome after his grooming even though his long luscious hair looked really nice. He's getting compliments and a few people ask where I got him groomed which reminded me to leave a review. The price was reasonable and affordable. I highly recommend them.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.  Absolutely shameful practice. They killed my friends dog Daisy! Never ever trust your dog with them. They took her out for an unauthorized walk and didn't put her harness on (giant dog) and instead used a broken lead and Daisy was hit by a car and died. They were absolutely heartless in how they treated it and for someone who calls themselves an expert this clearly shows he has no idea what he is doing!

 Verified  DO NOT GO HERE!! Our friend took her dog here. it was let out unsupervised and was hit by a car and died. no apology, no accountability - absolutely disgusting. Our friends dog was her everything. this experience completely changed her life. The behavior of lucky dog grooming was disgraceful. They shouldn't even be in business

 Verified  Fantastic find -- best grooming in LA!  We were referred through loyal friends and have been taking each of our 3 dogs for over 20 years!  High quality care and grooming. Excellent service for terrific price and wonderful, devoted small team. At this point, Lucky Dog is part of our family!
